2003 Re-cap: The original members of Question Mark & the Mysterians ("96 Tears") were in recording (one take, no protools) a Rolling Stones cover of "Empty Heart" for a Norton Records compilation. Also recording for this release was Dex's Dou Jets doing "Heart of Stone", The Little Killers (Crypt Recordings) cover of "Think" and The Real Kids covering "Gotta Get Away," and "Ride on Baby," which features Abones drummer Miriam on vocals. The legendary Andrˇ Williams with the Abones backing him were in covering "The Spider and The Fly" and the Church Keys covering "Who's flying the plane" and "Andrews Blues". All produced by Billy Miller and mixed by Michael.

Dan Rose was in producing soundtrack material for his film, starring Iggy Pop, title "Wayne County Ramblin," featuring, the legendary blues guitars Eddie Kirkland

(see photo). It is a road movie that takes place between Detroit & Mississippi, featuring 3 young America travelers whose entire journey is overseen by 3 West African spirits.

Crazy Mary (Humsting records) was in at the beginning of the year recording their fifth release "Knucklehead" with special guest avant-garde violinist Walter Steding (Robert Fripp and Jim Carroll Band) and the New York Horns. This album is dedicated to
founding member, bassist George Kerezman, who sadly, passed away last March. He will be missed by Coyote and friends. Crazy Mary returned in fall to do dub mixes of "Knucklehead" titled "I'm Not Going To Stop Touching It". All produced by guitarist Charles Kibel and mixed by Michael.
New York's own The Slackers (Epitaph/Hellcat) were in working with dub producer Sidney Mills, engineering was done by Michael.

Reid Paley has been in working on his newest release with his trio, produced by Paley and engineered by Michael.

Working with Michael were The Drossells mixing their live show from CBGB's. Also, working with Michael was a young punk band based out of Huntington, LI , Less is More. Listen out for this band, they've got something new and fresh going on.

Some of Williamsburg's finest were in working at Coyote, Fountainhead, Hulalpoper, and Evangelist Samson and the Righteous Sisters, to name a few.
Freelance Producer/ Engineer Jason Spittle was also busy at Coyote having fun. In with Jason was DenmarkÕs own Pinboys doing a 4 song EP for Flytrap Records. Jard Soul , was in working on their first independent release with Jason. In the spring Poor Lyrix came in and pounded through their One World Tour album release by Triple T Entertainment . This summer was the season of live two track recording with The Dowsers, Cool Green, and The Tokleys, taking the plunge with Jason behind the board. Swinger Eight is working on their upcoming release, 2:22 A.M., with Jason producing, and engineering. Look for release in late Spring/early Summer of 2004.
